Garh Bhasha (garhbhasha.app वेबसाइट और Garh Bhasha मोबाइल ऐप) गढ़वाली भाषा का एक निःशुल्क डिजिटल शब्दकोश है, जिसका संचालन Laminai Digital Pvt. Ltd. ("हम") करता है। इस नीति में "सेवा" का अर्थ ऐप और वेबसाइट दोनों है।

Garh Bhasha (the garhbhasha.app website and the Garh Bhasha mobile app) is a free digital dictionary of the Garhwali language, operated by Laminai Digital Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us"). In this policy, the "Service" means both the app and the website.

खाते की जानकारी — जब आप ऐप में साइन अप करते हैं:

• आपका नाम और ईमेल पता।
• Google या Facebook से साइन इन करने पर, उनके द्वारा दी गई खाता आईडी और प्रोफ़ाइल फ़ोटो।
• ईमेल से साइन अप करने पर आपका पासवर्ड — जो केवल हैश (एन्क्रिप्टेड) रूप में रखा जाता है, सादे अक्षरों में कभी नहीं।

सीखने की गतिविधि — आप कौन-से शब्द देखते हैं, कौन-से शब्द सहेजते (पसंदीदा) हैं, दैनिक क्विज़ में आपके उत्तर और अंक। इन्हीं से आपकी प्रगति, लगातार सीखने के दिन (स्ट्रीक) और बैज बनते हैं।

आपके भेजे शब्द — ऐप से सुझाया गया शब्द, उसके अर्थ और उसकी समीक्षा की स्थिति।

ऐप फ़ीडबैक — आपकी रेटिंग और संदेश, आपका नाम, ईमेल और (यदि आप दें) मोबाइल नंबर, साथ ही ऐप का संस्करण, भाषा और प्लेटफ़ॉर्म (Android/iOS), ताकि हम आपको उत्तर दे सकें और ऐप को बेहतर बना सकें।

डिवाइस टोकन — पुश नोटिफ़िकेशन (जैसे आज का शब्द, साप्ताहिक प्रगति) भेजने के लिए Firebase Cloud Messaging का एक टोकन।

वेबसाइट संपर्क फ़ॉर्म — आपका नाम, ईमेल, विषय और संदेश, और स्पैम रोकने के लिए आपका IP पता व ब्राउज़र की जानकारी।

हम आपकी लोकेशन, संपर्क सूची, फ़ोटो/फ़ाइलें या भुगतान की कोई जानकारी नहीं लेते।

Account information — when you sign up in the app:

• Your name and email address.
• If you sign in with Google or Facebook, the account ID and profile photo they share with us.
• If you sign up with email, your password — stored only in hashed (encrypted) form, never as plain text.

Learning activity — the words you open, the words you save as favourites, and your daily quiz answers and scores. These are used to build your progress, learning streaks and badges.

Words you contribute — the word, its meanings and its review status when you suggest a word from the app.

App feedback — your rating and message, your name, email and (if you give it) mobile number, along with the app version, language and platform (Android/iOS), so we can reply to you and improve the app.

Device token — a Firebase Cloud Messaging token used to send push notifications (such as the word of the day and weekly progress).

Website contact form — your name, email, topic and message, plus your IP address and browser details to prevent spam.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos/files or any payment information.

• आपकी प्रगति, स्ट्रीक, बैज और क्विज़ परिणाम दिखाने के लिए।
• आज का शब्द, क्विज़ रिमाइंडर और साप्ताहिक प्रगति जैसे नोटिफ़िकेशन भेजने के लिए।
• आपके सुझाए शब्दों की समीक्षा करने और उन्हें शब्दकोश में जोड़ने के लिए।
• आपके संदेशों का उत्तर देने और सेवा को दुरुपयोग व स्पैम से सुरक्षित रखने के लिए।
• बिना पहचान वाले कुल आँकड़ों (जैसे कौन-से शब्द सबसे ज़्यादा देखे गए) से शब्दकोश को बेहतर बनाने के लिए।

हम आपकी जानकारी से विज्ञापन प्रोफ़ाइल नहीं बनाते।

• To create your account, sign you in and show your saved words.
• To show your progress, streaks, badges and quiz results.
• To send notifications such as the word of the day, quiz reminders and weekly progress.
• To review the words you suggest and add them to the dictionary.
• To reply to your messages and keep the Service safe from abuse and spam.
• To improve the dictionary using anonymous, combined statistics (for example, which words are viewed most).

We do not use your information to build advertising profiles.

हम आपकी व्यक्तिगत जानकारी न बेचते हैं, न किराए पर देते हैं। सेवा चलाने के लिए हम केवल इन सेवा प्रदाताओं का उपयोग करते हैं:

• Google — Google साइन-इन और Firebase Cloud Messaging (नोटिफ़िकेशन)।

आपकी प्रोफ़ाइल, सहेजे शब्द या क्विज़ परिणाम दूसरे उपयोगकर्ताओं को नहीं दिखते। आपके स्वीकृत शब्द शब्दकोश का हिस्सा बन जाते हैं, पर उनके साथ आपकी पहचान नहीं दिखाई जाती।

We do not sell or rent your personal information. To run the Service we rely only on these service providers:

• Google — Google Sign-In and Firebase Cloud Messaging (notifications).
• Meta — Facebook Login.
• Our hosting provider — whose servers run our database and website.

These services handle data under their own privacy policies. Beyond this, we share information only when the law requires us to.

Your profile, saved words and quiz results are not visible to other users. Words you contribute become part of the dictionary once approved, but are not shown with your identity.

आपकी जानकारी सुरक्षित सर्वरों पर रखी जाती है और ऐप व सर्वर के बीच एन्क्रिप्टेड (HTTPS) कनेक्शन से जाती है। पासवर्ड केवल हैश रूप में रखे जाते हैं। हम उचित सुरक्षा उपाय अपनाते हैं, फिर भी इंटरनेट पर कोई भी प्रणाली पूरी तरह सुरक्षित होने की गारंटी नहीं दे सकती।

Your information is kept on secured servers and travels between the app and our servers over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Passwords are stored only in hashed form. We take reasonable security measures, but no system on the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

• खाते की जानकारी और सीखने की गतिविधि तब तक रखी जाती है जब तक आपका खाता सक्रिय है।
• खाता हटाते ही आपका खाता और उससे जुड़ी सारी जानकारी हमारे डेटाबेस से तुरंत मिटा दी जाती है। नियमित बैकअप में यह कुछ समय तक रह सकती है, जिसके बाद वह अपने-आप हट जाती है।
• संपर्क फ़ॉर्म के संदेश तब तक रखे जाते हैं जब तक उनका उत्तर देने या रिकॉर्ड के लिए ज़रूरी हो।
• बिना पहचान वाले कुल आँकड़े (जैसे किसी शब्द को कितनी बार देखा गया) रखे जा सकते हैं, क्योंकि उनसे आपकी पहचान नहीं होती।

• Account information and learning activity are kept for as long as your account is active.
• When you delete your account, it and all data linked to it are erased from our database immediately. Copies may remain in routine backups for a limited time before they are overwritten.
• Contact form messages are kept for as long as needed to respond and for our records.
• Anonymous, combined statistics (such as how many times a word was viewed) may be kept, as they cannot identify you.

डिजिटल व्यक्तिगत डेटा संरक्षण अधिनियम, 2023 सहित लागू क़ानूनों के अनुसार आप:

• हमसे पूछ सकते हैं कि हमारे पास आपकी कौन-सी जानकारी है।
• ग़लत जानकारी को ठीक करवा सकते हैं।
• अपना खाता और सारा डेटा हटा सकते हैं — खाता कैसे हटाएँ।
• फ़ोन की सेटिंग्स से ऐप के नोटिफ़िकेशन कभी भी बंद कर सकते हैं।
• अपनी शिकायत हमें भेज सकते हैं (नीचे "संपर्क" देखें)।

Under applicable laws, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

• Ask us what information we hold about you.
• Have inaccurate information corrected.
• Delete your account and all its data — see how to delete your account.
• Turn off app notifications at any time from your phone's settings.
• Raise a grievance with us (see "Contact" below).

Garh Bhasha सभी उम्र के लोगों के लिए भाषा सीखने का साधन है। यदि आपकी आयु 18 वर्ष से कम है, तो कृपया अपने माता-पिता या अभिभावक की सहमति और देखरेख में ही खाता बनाएँ। यदि हमें पता चलता है कि किसी बच्चे का खाता अभिभावक की सहमति के बिना बना है, तो हम उसे हटा देंगे।

Garh Bhasha is a language-learning tool for all ages. If you are under 18, please create an account only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. If we learn that a child's account was created without such consent, we will delete it.

वेबसाइट एक ज़रूरी सत्र (session) कुकी का उपयोग करती है, और आपकी चुनी भाषा (हिंदी/अंग्रेज़ी) आपके ब्राउज़र में याद रखती है।

वेबसाइट यह समझने के लिए Google Analytics का उपयोग करती है कि लोग इसे कैसे इस्तेमाल करते हैं — जैसे कौन-से पेज देखे गए, कौन-से शब्द खोजे गए, और मोटे तौर पर कौन-सा देश या डिवाइस। Google Analytics इसके लिए कुकीज़ लगाता है। हमें केवल कुल आँकड़े दिखते हैं, आपकी पहचान नहीं; विज्ञापन सुविधाएँ बंद हैं और हम विज्ञापन कुकीज़ का उपयोग नहीं करते। आप ब्राउज़र में कुकीज़ रोक सकते हैं या Google Analytics opt-out का उपयोग कर सकते हैं। यह केवल वेबसाइट पर लागू है, मोबाइल ऐप पर नहीं।

The website uses one essential session cookie, and remembers your chosen language (Hindi/English) in your browser.

The website uses Google Analytics to understand how people use it — for example which pages are viewed, which words are searched, and the approximate country and device type. Google Analytics sets cookies to do this. We only see totals, not who you are; its advertising features are turned off and we do not use advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser or use the Google Analytics opt-out. This applies to the website only, not the mobile app.

हम समय-समय पर इस नीति को अपडेट कर सकते हैं। बदलाव होने पर ऊपर दी गई "अंतिम अपडेट" की तारीख बदल दी जाएगी, और बड़े बदलावों की सूचना ऐप या वेबसाइट पर दी जाएगी।

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date above will change, and significant changes will be announced in the app or on the website.
